redpengrade is a small, independent site of free grade calculators for students and grading tools for teachers. It's built and maintained by Muhammad Afzal, a web and conversion specialist who makes websites clearer and easier to use.
It exists because grade maths is simple once it's written down, and stressful when you're doing it the night before a final. Every tool shows its formula and a worked example, so you can check the answer yourself.
How the tools are kept accurate
- Every formula is on its calculator page, with a worked example.
- Each calculation is tested automatically against those examples whenever the site is updated.
- If you find a mistake, please get in touch. Corrections are made quickly.
What redpengrade is not
It isn't your school's gradebook. Teachers and schools set their own weights, rounding and grading scales, and those decide your official grade.
Independence
redpengrade isn't affiliated with any school, district, testing company or calculator maker. If the site later carries advertising, it will be disclosed in the privacy policy.
